A museum: MAN

Name: MAN (Nattional arqueological museum)
Location: Madrid, street of Serrano, 13

General theme of the museum: Is the biggest museum of Spain where we can see all the periods of history in and out of Spain.
We can see sculptures, paintings, bones, remains, parts of doors, castles...
Why I have chosen:
1) Because I visited this museum and i think that it is fantastic
2) Althow it is a very good museum  most of people don´t know about it.
3)We have it here in Spain

My favourite gallery: The iberian gallery:
The iberian gallery is one of the best galleries and I have chosen two pieces because both of them are fantastic:
- Name: Ladie of Baza
-Location: The iberian gallerie(MAN)
-Period: Protohistory 4C BC
-Place of origin: Necropolis of Baza (Granada)
-Why I have chosen this piece because: Because it is one of the few statues that have some color and help the arqueologist to know how the iberians colored the staues and also becouse it is beatifull

- Name: Ladie of Elche
-Location: Iberian gallerie(MAN)
-Period: Protohistory 5C-4C BC
-Place of origin: Alcudia of Elche (Alicante)
-Why I have chosen this piece: because I think that is the best sculpture of ancient time.

The entry is free saturdays 14:00 to close and sundays in the mornig

My opinion:
The MAN is the best museum of Spain and one of the best museums of the world,  is not too expensive but if you want to see only a part is better if you go on sunday because it is free, but if you want to see all the museum you have to spent all the day because is so big, the museum has a very good restaruant and is not too expensive so you can also eat in the museum. It is a very good idea to visit the museum. Enjoy the MAN;)!
